    Abstract: In the method, a detection agent apparatus receives location information of a monitoring point on a service path that is sent by a detection control apparatus, where the detection agent apparatus is located in the NFV system; the detection agent apparatus obtains fault locating information from the monitoring point based on the location information of the monitoring point, where the fault locating information is information obtained by the monitoring point according to a filter criterion, and the fault locating information includes the location information of the monitoring point; and the detection agent apparatus sends the fault locating information to the detection control apparatus, where the detection control apparatus may determine a faulty monitoring point based on the fault locating information and a service model corresponding to the service path.

    Abstract: A broadband connection method includes a virtual broadband network gateway (vBNG)-control plane (CP) that receives first indication information from a user plane selection function (USF), where the first indication information indicates a second vBNG-user plane (UP) that replaces a first vBNG-UP when the first vBNG-UP is faulty. The vBNG-CP sends a user entry to the second vBNG-UP based on the first indication information, where the user entry is used by the second vBNG-UP to enable a user to access a network based on the user entry when the first vBNG-UP is faulty such that when a user plane is faulty, broadband access of a user is not interrupted, and the user can continue to access a network.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a packet transmission method, apparatus, and system. A first network device sends a probe packet to a second network device, the probe packet includes an identifier of the first network device, and the identifier of the first network device is used to indicate the second network device to add the identifier of the first network device to a destination address in a response packet of the probe packet; and receives the response packet from the second network device, where the destination address in the response packet is the identifier of the first network device; or receives an updated response packet from a third network device, where a destination address in the updated response packet is the identifier of the first network device. Both the third network device and the first network device are connected to a same user-side network device.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a congestion control method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a root node network element, a first link notification message; determining, based on the link status information of the first link, that the first link is congested; determining an identifier of a first leaf node network element based on a correspondence between an identifier of the first port and the identifier of the first leaf node network element; determining a service queue of the first leaf node network element based on a correspondence between the identifier of the first leaf node network element and an identifier of the service queue of the first leaf node network element; and lowering output bandwidth of the service queue of the first leaf node network element.
