The method may include: when a base station receives information about a selection result and measurement configuration information, where the information about the selection result and the measurement configuration information are sent by a selection apparatus, determining, by the base station according to the selection result, that the present base station is a primary base station; acquiring, by the base station, channel quality information by using the measurement configuration information; and generating, by the base station, decision information according to the channel quality information and video service information that is acquired from a transmission conversion apparatus, and sending the decision information to the transmission conversion apparatus, which instructs a unicast service network element to perform unicast transmission for video data and/or instructs a multicast service network element to perform multicast transmission for video data.
Abstract:
A carrier aggregation transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: bearing N carriers in a preset band, where N is a positive integer greater than 1, and a nominal bandwidth values of the carriers are less than or equal to 5 MHz; aggregating the N carriers, to make nominal channel spacing between adjacent carriers among the N carriers is integral multiples of 0.2 MHz; and transmitting the N aggregated carriers. Besides, by further appropriately setting the chip rate corresponding to the carriers with different nominal bandwidths, the performance of small-bandwidth and narrow-bandwidth aggregation systems is efficiently improved, and existing hardware and algorithms can be reused.
Abstract:
A multi-user multiplexing method, a base station, and a user terminal are disclosed. The method includes: a base station weights, using a precoding matrix, multiple data streams to obtain to-be-transmitted data streams mapped onto K physical transmit antennas; weights, using the precoding matrix, a pilot signal to obtain to-be-transmitted pilot signals mapped onto the K physical transmit antennas; and sends the to-be-transmitted data streams and the to-be-transmitted pilot signals to the N user terminals by using the K physical transmit antennas. The to-be-transmitted data streams and the to-be-transmitted pilot signals are mapped onto different time-frequency resources. N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2, K is a positive integer, and the precoding matrix is calculated according to characteristics of channels from the K physical transmit antennas to the N user terminals.
