Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) capability information transmission method and apparatus, and a system. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: obtaining, by a core network (CN) network element, SRVCC capability information of a terminal from the terminal, where the terminal accesses, from a first-standard network by means of an inter-RAT handover, a second-standard network in which the CN network element is located, the first-standard network does not support an SRVCC function, and the second-standard network supports the SRVCC function; and sending, by the CN network element, the SRVCC capability information to a radio access network (RAN) network element.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a discontinuous reception DRX management method, including determining, by a base station, that a terminal has a voice service, and setting up, by the base station, a voice bearer for the terminal, and activating a DRX function of the terminal when setting up the voice bearer for the terminal. It can be learned that, in the method, the terminal does not activate the DRX function before setting up the voice bearer, and does not activate the DRX function until the voice bearer is set up, to effectively reduce a voice paging connection delay.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method and an apparatus for processing a terminal that is performing a voice service, and a communications system. In the method, a RAN device actively redirects a voice service terminal, releases an RRC connection of the terminal, and instructs a CN device to retain a GBR bearer of the voice service terminal in a release process. Because a bearer type of a VOIP service is a GBR bearer, a bearer of the VOIP service is not released. When the terminal accesses a network again, the CN device may directly use the GBR bearer to restore the voice service, so as to avoid voice service interruption caused by releasing the bearer of the VOIP service in a redirection process, reduce a call drop rate, and improve user experience.
