    Abstract: A method for preventing a network attack, including: receiving, by a first network node in a Ethernet virtual private network (EVPN), a first packet, where the first packet carries a first media access control (MAC) address, and the first MAC address is a source MAC address of the first packet; and determining first MAC entry information, where the first MAC entry information includes a correspondence between the first MAC address, an identifier of the first MAC address, and egress port information of the first MAC address, and the identifier of the first MAC address is used to indicate that an egress port corresponding to the first MAC address is a trusted port. This method can reduce a risk that the EVPN breaks down caused by attacking the EVPN by an attacker.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a method and apparatus of predicting network performance, wherein the method includes: obtaining M performance parameter data of a link; calculating a cloud model digital feature of network performance of the link according to the M performance parameter data; calculating N predicted performance parameter data of the network performance of the link according to the cloud model digital feature; and raising a prediction alarm that the link has a risk of exceeding a limit if there is data exceeding a preset upper limit value in the N predicted performance parameter data, wherein M and N are preset positive integers. A change trend of network performance is analyzed according to real-time monitored data of the network performance of the link to predict future performance parameter data, and whether an alarm is raised and protection switching is performed is determined based on the prediction.

    Abstract: A link fault detection method includes sending, by a first network device, data traffic to a second network device by using a plurality of first label switched paths (LSPs). The method also includes determining, by using each of the plurality of first LSPs within a preset period, whether a first link detection packet from the second network device is received. The method further includes determining an LSP of the plurality of first LSPs for which the first link detection packet is not received as a first faulty LSP. The method additionally includes calculating a first unavailability of the plurality of first LSPs based on the first faulty LSP. The method also includes triggering the plurality of first LSPs to stop transmitting the data traffic according to the first unavailability of the plurality of first LSPs.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a method and apparatus for detecting a link status, and pertain to the communications field. The method includes: A first network device detects a link status of a bundled physical link. The bundled physical link is a link between the first network device and a second network device. The first network device determines N logical links based on link information about the bundled physical link. The N logical links are carried on the bundled physical link, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The first network device skips detecting link statuses of the N logical links, and sets the link statuses of the N logical links to the link status of the bundled physical link. According to this application, occupied computing resources of a network device and occupied network resources of a communications network can be reduced.

    Abstract: This application discloses a method and apparatus for implementing entry backup. When a first network device needs to back up information about a first entry stored in the first network device to a second network device, the first network device generates a first BGP message that includes first entry information, and sends the first BGP message to the second network device, where the first BGP message is used to advertise a newly defined entry backup route to the second network device, or the first BGP message includes an extended community attribute. After receiving the first BGP message, the second network device may obtain a second entry based on the first BGP message, and store information about the second entry, where the second entry is a backup entry of the first entry.

The configuration method is applied to a network on which detection is performed by using the TWAMP, and may include: receiving, by a controller, a request packet sent by an ingress network device, where the ingress network device is a network device through which a service flow flows into the network, and the request packet includes a destination IP address of the service flow; and determining, by the controller, based on the destination IP address, that the service flow is an X2 service flow, and sending configuration information for TWAMP detection to the ingress network device and an egress network device, where the egress network device is a network device through which the service flow flows out of the network.
