Abstract: This application provides a signal receiving method and a terminal device, to improve user experience. The method is applied to a terminal device provided with a plurality of subscriber identification module SIM cards, the terminal device is provided with a plurality of receive antennas, and the method includes: switching from a first mode to a second mode when a channel environment of a first SIM card meets a preset condition, where the first SIM card is a SIM card configured to receive a high-priority signal, the high-priority signal includes a paging message, a system message, or downlink signaling in a signaling interaction procedure, and a quantity of receive antennas configured for the first SIM card in the first mode is different from a quantity of receive antennas configured for the first SIM card in the second mode.

Abstract: In an outbound transmission control method, a satellite network device segments an application layer packet into a plurality of Message Data Convergence Protocol (MDCP) protocol data units (PDUs) at an MDCP layer. The satellite network device sequentially delivers the MDCP PDUs to a satellite link control (SLC) layer as SLC service data units (SDUs) at the SLC layer, and segments the SLC SDU into N SLC PDUs at the SLC layer. SLC PDUs of one or more users are obtained at a physical layer (PHY) from the SLC layer. The SLC PDUs of the one or more users are spliced together at the PHY to form outbound data of a physical slot with a fixed length. The satellite network device in turn sends the outbound data to one or more terminals.

Abstract: A letter download query method may include a terminal sending a letter download query request packet to a satellite network device, where the letter download query request packet includes a service type field and a message ID field, the service type field indicates a service type of the letter download query request packet, and the message ID field indicates an ID of a letter successfully received by the terminal last time. The terminal receives a letter download query result packet from the satellite network device, where the letter download query result packet includes an original letter sending time field and a letter content field, the original letter sending time field indicates original sending time of letter content in the letter content field, and the letter content field indicates letter content from one or more target terminals to the terminal.
