Abstract: An electronic device displays a window-based application on a screen of the electronic device, and the electronic device displays a system control in a display region of the window-based application in response to an operation performed by a user on the window-based application, where an actual display position and an actual display size of the system control follow a size and a position of a window. In the foregoing technical solution, the actual display position and the actual display size of the system control are adapted to the window-based application.
