Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and provide a complex event processing method, apparatus, and system, so that when complex event processing is performed, a system requiring a synchronous response provides a synchronous response externally and avoids information flooding. A solution provided by the present invention includes: receiving an input event sent by an event source, where the input event includes an identifier of an object and an event type; acquiring, according to a preset database, M mode rules corresponding to the event type; performing mode matching between the input event and the M mode rules separately to acquire N output events; and if N is greater than or equal to 1, sending at least one piece of event information to a real-time decision apparatus, where each piece of the event information includes Q output events and indication information.

Abstract: An event processing method and apparatus which relate to the field of data processing technologies and applicable to a device on which a system having a pattern matching function runs, and reduce memory overheads when a complex event processing (CEP) system performs pattern matching in a complex scenario. The method includes performing, by a state machine instance, matching in a current matching period after an Xth event occurs, detecting, by the state machine instance, whether a quantity of events that have currently occurred is greater than 1 when no result indicating successful matching is obtained, and setting a time when an (X+1)th event occurs as a start time of a next matching period when the quantity of events that have currently occurred is greater than 1, and performing matching again in the next matching period.

Based on call records of a user, communication numbers of the user which meet a preset condition are identified. Then a re-subscribed user is identified by calculating a communication number coincidence rate between users within different charging periods. In accordance with the present invention, call records of users are used as a basis of comparative analysis, thereby improving an accuracy rate of identifying a re-subscribed user; a new method is practiced to sequenced communication numbers of a user and group communication records, thereby effectively reducing the number of calculations and improving calculation efficiency.
