Abstract: This application provides a window display method, a window switching method, an electronic device, and a system. The method is applied to multi-screen collaboration between a mobile phone and a PC, and a plurality of application interfaces of the mobile phone are displayed in a form of tabs in a multi-screen collaboration window. In the multi-screen collaboration process, a background of the mobile phone may obtain user operations, distinguish between operation objects according to the user operations, and then determine a running status of an application and a window display status, so as to obtain an operation result that better meets user's expectation. The method may further implement file sharing between the mobile phone and the PC and between different applications of the mobile phone.

Abstract: A first electronic device displays a floating window on display content of a home screen. A first user interface is displayed in the floating window, the display content of the home screen is determined based on image data in a home screen display region, and display content of the floating window is determined based on image data in a first extended display region. A first operation on the floating window is detected, and the first electronic device casts, the display content of the floating window to a second electronic device based on the image data in the first extended display region. The first electronic device switches, in response to a first instruction, the display content of the floating window to a second user interface based on an application window run in the first extended display region.

Abstract: A data transmission method is implemented by a first electronic deviceand includes displaying a first window and a second window, where the first window displays a projected interface of a second electronic device, and the second window displays a projected interface of a third electronic device; detecting a first input instruction that acts on first information in the first window; sending a second input instruction to the second electronic device based on the first input instruction, where the second input instruction instructs the second electronic device to determine the first information; receiving, from the second electronic device,first transmission information about the first information; detecting a third input instruction acting on the second window; and sending, to the third electronic device based on the third input instruction, second transmission information generated based on the first transmission information.
