Abstract: A remote access method and device are provided. The method includes acquiring, by a local area network terminal, information about accessible content on at least one online device in the local area network; aggregating, by the local area network terminal, the information about the accessible content on the at least one online device; and sending, by the local area network terminal, the aggregated information about the accessible content on the at least one online device to a remote client, so that the remote client presents the information about the accessible content on the at least one online device.
