Abstract: Methods, a user node and a network node are provided. The user node is configured to determine an indication of at least one wake-up latency of the user node, the at least one wake-up latency being a time period for the user node to wake-up and start to monitor a downlink channel transmitted by the network node of a wireless communication network; determine a message comprising the indication; and transmit the message to the network node. The network node is configured to receive from the user node a message, and set a wake-up offset for the user node based on the at least one wake-up latency comprised in the message, the wake-up offset being a time period between a wake-up signal transmission and a subsequent downlink channel transmission from the network node to the user node.

Abstract: There is provided a user node comprising a first transceiver modem capable of receiving a full set of resource elements and a secondary transceiver modem capable of receiving a subset of resource elements among the full set of resource elements, the subset of resource elements comprising resource element blocks. The first transceiver modem is configured to receive first control information identifying the subset of the resource elements and second control information enabling determination of a currently used resource element block among the subset of resource elements, send the first control information and the second control information to the secondary transceiver modem and enter into a reduced power state. The secondary transceiver modem is configured to receive at least one signal in the subset of resource elements while the first transceiver modem is in the reduced power state, determine a control decision and output at least one command.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an access node configured for determining at least one beamforming parameter for communication between the access node and a user node. The access node including: a first-band receiver configured to receive at least one first signal from said user node on a first frequency band; a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer-executable instructions executed by the processor to perform, on the access node, determining at least one first beamforming parameter based on said received first signal; and a second-band transmitter configured to send, with a transmit beam that is configured based on said determined first beamforming parameter, on a second frequency band at least one second signal to said user node. The first frequency band includes lower frequencies than the second frequency band.
