    Abstract: An optical computing apparatus includes a first lens, a second lens, and a modulation system. The first lens receives a first group of optical signals loaded with first data, and outputs a second group of optical signals based on the first group of optical signals. The modulation system is located on a back focal plane of the first lens, performs amplitude modulation and phase modulation on the second group of optical signals based on second data, and outputs a plurality of groups of intermediate optical signals, where each group of intermediate optical signals includes a plurality of optical signals. The second lens is located behind the modulation system and outputs a third group of optical signals based on the plurality of groups of intermediate optical signals.

    Abstract: An optical computing chip includes a light source array, a first concave mirror, and a modulator array. The light source array is located on an objective focal plane of the first concave mirror. The modulator array is located on an image focal plane of the first concave mirror. The light source array generates a first optical signal based on first data. The first concave mirror outputs a first reflected optical signal based on the first optical signal. The modulator array receives the first reflected optical signal, obtains first spectrum plane distribution data based on the first reflected optical signal, and modulates the first spectrum plane distribution data onto the modulator array.

    Abstract: This application discloses an optical computing apparatus and method, and relates to the field of optical processing technologies. The apparatus implements two-dimensional Fourier transform of input data. The apparatus includes a beam splitting phase shift module and a beam combination module. The beam splitting phase shift module is configured to receive a plurality of input optical signals that indicate input data, and output a plurality of groups of intermediate optical signals based on the plurality of input optical signals. The beam combination module is configured to obtain a plurality of output optical signals based on the plurality of groups of intermediate optical signals, where output data indicated by the plurality of output optical signals is data obtained through two-dimensional Fourier transform performed on the input data.
