    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a load monitoring apparatus and method. The apparatus includes: an operation unit, configured to determine indication information for indicating a working state of each processing module in the operation unit; a working state unit, configured to receive the indication information from the operation unit, and determine load amount information in a current monitoring period according to the indication information, where the load amount information is used for indicating a load amount state of the operation unit in the current monitoring period; and a load monitoring unit, configured to receive the load amount information from the working state unit and record the load amount information, and send the load amount information to a system controller, so that the system controller adjusts a working frequency of the operation unit according to the load amount information.
