Abstract:
An NFV MANO policy descriptor management method and an apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a policy rule execution entity, a network functions virtualization management and orchestration (NFV MANO) operation request sent by a policy rule decision entity, where the NFV MANO operation request includes a policy parameter; obtaining a policy descriptor file corresponding to the NFV MANO operation request, where the policy descriptor file includes at least one piece of policy information corresponding to an NFV MANO operation requested by the NFV MANO operation request; and configuring the policy parameter into the policy information to form a policy rule. Operational efficiency of NFV MANO policy management in the prior art is improved.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a VNFM determining method and a network functions virtualization orchestrator. The method includes: receiving, by an NFVO, a first VNF instantiation request; determining, according to the first VNF instantiation request from VNFMs in a management domain of the NFVO, a VNFM managing the to-be-instantiated VNF; and sending a second VNF instantiation request to the determined VNFM, where the second VNF instantiation request is used to request the determined VNFM to instantiate the to-be-instantiated VNF. A correct VNFM is selected for the VNF, thereby ensuring that VNF deployment and life cycle management are performed correctly and highly efficiently.
Abstract:
A container service management method and apparatus, to integrate a container service and a container service management function into an NFV MANO system. The method includes: receiving, by a container service management entity, a creation request for a container service, where the creation request is used to request to create a specified container service, and the creation request carries a first management policy for managing a lifecycle of the specified container service; creating, by the container service management entity, the specified container service in response to the creation request; and managing, by the container service management entity, the lifecycle of the specified container service according to the first management policy.
Abstract:
This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a policy management method and system, and an apparatus. The method includes: requesting, by a policy decision entity, an NFVO in a management domain of a composite NS to perform a management operation on a policy group. According to the solution provided in this application, consistency between the LCM policy of the composite NS and the LCM policy of the nested NS forming the composite NS is ensured, and policy management execution efficiency is improved in a scenario of providing a composite NS across management domains.
Abstract:
A resource management method and apparatus are disclosed. A primary orchestrator determines resource management that is in a management domain of a secondary orchestrator and that needs to be performed by the secondary orchestrator (S101), and sends a resource management instruction to the secondary orchestrator (S102). The resource management instruction is used to instruct the secondary orchestrator to perform the resource management that is in the management domain of the secondary orchestrator and that needs to be performed by the secondary orchestrator. The primary orchestrator and the secondary orchestrator have different management domains, so as to be applicable to resource management across management domains of NFVOs.
Abstract:
An information transmission method is provided. An apparatus receives a first session request from a third party application function, which includes identity information of the third party application function and identity information of a destination entity in a network. The apparatus establishes a first session with the third party application function; sends a second session request to the destination entity, which includes identity information of an anchor entity and the identity information of the third party application function. The apparatus establishes a second session with the destination entity; receives information reported by the destination entity, which includes a report event and identity information of the third party application function. The apparatus forwards the report event to the corresponding third party application function according to the identity information of the third party application function included in the information. Correct identification and forwarding of a packet flow is achieved.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method, an apparatus, and a system for disabling a standard network. The method includes: acquiring processing capability information of all standard networks in a multi-standard network; judging, according to the processing capability information of all of the standard networks, whether to disable a first standard network; when it is necessary to disable the first standard network, sending disabling information to the first standard network which needs to be disabled; sending information of subscribing to a first energy conservation event to a second standard network; and when information of triggering the first energy conservation event returned by the second standard network is received, sending enabling information to the first standard network. Therefore, in the method, disablement and enablement of a base station or cell in a multi-standard network is uniformly coordinated and managed by a network management system. Moreover, the method adapts to variations of services in the multi-standard network, and in particular, to a burst service.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for associating reports, and relates to the field of radio communications, which are used to solve the problem in the prior art that an analysis and location result is not precise enough because information of an RLF report and an MDT measurement report of a UE cannot be fully applied in analysis and location of a radio link problem on a network. The method for associating reports includes: sending, by a base station, to a UE that executes an MDT job an identifier allocated to the UE; receiving, by the base station, an RLF report of the UE, where the RLF report includes the identifier; and associating, by the base station, the RLF report of the UE with an MDT measurement report that includes the identifier.
Abstract:
A communication method includes receiving, by a container cluster management (CCM), a first request message from a network device. The first request message is useable to request the CCM to associate a target customized container cluster management characteristic with a target container cluster. The first request message includes identification information of the target customized container cluster management characteristic and identification information of the target container cluster. The network device is a consumer entity of the CCM. The communication method further includes associating, by the CCM, the target customized container cluster management characteristic with the target container cluster based on the first request message.
Abstract:
