Abstract: A method for function migration includes a first device that sends a first request carrying an identifier of the first device to a second device. The second device receives the first request from the first device. The second device sends a first response to the first device, where the first response indicates a first group created by the second device, and a member in the first group includes the second device. The first device receives the first response from the second device. The first device sends a second request to the second device, where the second request is for applying for adding the first device to the first group. The first device migrates a first function in a first application to the second device, where the first application is any application in the first device, and the first function includes one or more graphical user interfaces.
