Abstract: This application provides a device input method and system includes: obtaining a native event of a first device in response to an input operation performed by a user on the first device; receiving a native event that is broadcast by a second device, where the native event of the second device is generated by an input operation performed by the user on the second device, and the second device and the first device are in a same distributed system; virtualizing the native event of the second device into an agent event; determining, based on the native event and the agent event of the first device, whether an input of the user is a multi-device combination input; if it is determined to be a multi-device combination input, and the first device is an execution device, executing a service. The method implements a combination input on a plurality of devices.

Abstract: In a peripheral control method, a first electronic device obtains peripheral information of one or more second electronic devices. The first electronic device creates, based on the peripheral information, a peripheral agent corresponding to a peripheral of the one or more second electronic devices. The first electronic device receives, by using a first distributed input subsystem, an input event sent by a second distributed input subsystem of a target second electronic device. The input event is an event determined after the target second electronic device collects a user input operation by using a peripheral. After processing the input event by using a target peripheral agent corresponding to the target second electronic device, the first electronic device performs a corresponding target operation.
