    Abstract: A camera device provided with a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor is provided. The camera device comprises an image sensor for capturing an image of a subject, an AI application for requesting an AI operation on the captured image, and performing video analysis on the captured image using a processing result of the AI operation according to the request, a plurality of AI sources embedded in the camera device, an NPU controller for monitoring a current resource of the plurality of AI sources according to the AI operation request, and processing an AI operation by at least some of the plurality of AI sources according to priorities of the plurality of AI sources, and an NPU driver for transmitting the AI operation request and a processing result of the AI operation between the AI application and the NPU controller.

    Abstract: An image masking method is provided. The method includes: extracting an object from an image; obtaining characteristic information about the extracted object by analyzing the extracted object; determining whether the extracted object is a masking target according to an input setting value or the obtained characteristic information; and performing masking such that the obtained characteristic information is reflected on the extracted object, in response to determining that the extracted object is the masking target among a plurality of objects extracted from the input image, wherein the setting value is set by an input designating at least a partial region in the input image, and wherein in the determining whether the extracted object is the masking target, an object positioned in the at least a partial region is determined as the masking target among the extracted objects.

    Abstract: A monitoring camera system may include: a camera including an imaging unit for capturing an image of a periphery region according to a first profile, a local storage medium capable of storing the captured image, and a first communication interface for transmitting the captured image; and an image management device including a main storage for storing the transmitted image, a recovery control unit for determining whether a recovery is necessary in the main storage and generating a control signal according to the determination result such that the main storage is recovered, and a computation unit for calculating storable hours for which the image captured according to the first profile can be stored in the local storage medium, according to the determination result, and comparing the calculated storable hours and predicted recovery hours required for recovering the main storage.
