摘要： Provided are a method of preventing data leakage from a portable terminal and an apparatus employing the method. The method includes checking whether computer identification (ID) data from a computer is received when the portable terminal is connected to the computer using a media transfer protocol (MTP). A computer authentication using the computer ID data is performed when the computer ID data is received.
