    Abstract: A communications device configuration method and a communications device, applied to simplify a communications device configuration process, where the communications device configuration method includes sending, by the communications device, a first loopback packet using a first physical port after the communications device is started, where the first loopback packet includes a loopback tag, and selecting, by the communications device, a first configuration option from at least two configuration options when a second physical port of the communications device receives the first loopback packet, and configuring the communications device according to the first configuration option.

    Abstract: A first control device obtains status indications of managed devices by using a first management protocol; the first control device stores the status indications and original device identifiers, of the managed devices, corresponding to the status indications; the first control device receives a request message sent by a second control device by using a second management protocol; the first control device extracts a status indication, where the extracted status indication is a status indication of a managed device identified by a virtual device identifier in the request message; and the first control device sends the extracted status indication to the second control device by using the second management protocol. The second control device manages the managed devices via the first control device.

    Abstract: A data scheduling method and customer premises equipment are provided. The customer premises equipment stores, in a first queue, received service data that is sent from a first network to a second network. Test data is generated that is to be sent from the first network to the second network. The test data is stored in a second queue. The customer premises equipment preferentially schedules the service data in the first queue to be in a third queue and in response to determining that a rate at which the service data is received is lower than a preset limit rate, schedules the test data in the second queue to be in the third queue to reach the limit rate. The service data and/or the test data in the third queue is sent to the second network at the limit rate.
