Abstract: A data transmission method and a related apparatus. A sending device performs binary phase shift keying BPSK mapping on a to-be-transmitted bit sequence to obtain a first sequence. The sending device performs coding modulation on the first sequence based on a generator matrix or a first sub-matrix including some rows of the generator matrix, to obtain a symbol sequence. The sending device sends the symbol sequence to a receiving device through a channel.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an uplink traffic resource scheduling method, a device, and a system. The method includes: determining, by a terminal, a transmission pattern for a scheduling request based on uplink data, where the transmission pattern is used to indicate code channel resources that are in one uplink subframe and that are used to carry the scheduling request, and the scheduling request is used to request to schedule an uplink traffic resource to transmit the uplink data; and sending the scheduling request to a network device by using the code channel resources indicated by the transmission pattern, so that the network device schedules, for the terminal based on the code channel resources carrying the scheduling request, an uplink traffic resource corresponding to the transmission pattern.
