Abstract: A data forwarding method and a related apparatus. The method includes: a head node obtains to-be-forwarded data; obtains a first segment identifier (SID) list corresponding to the to-be-forwarded data, where the first SID list is generated based on SIDs of a part of nodes in a target forwarding path; encapsulates, in front of the to-be-forwarded data, a packet header including the first SID list, to obtain a to-be-forwarded packet; and sends the to-be-forwarded packet based on the first SID list, where the target forwarding path includes M nodes, the first SID list is generated based on first N nodes in the M nodes, the first SID list is replaced with a second SID list at an intermediate node, and the second SID list is generated based on an Xth node to a Yth node in the M nodes.

Abstract: A load balancing method and a related device is provided. The method includes: determining topology information of each of a plurality of smallest management units pods in a load balancing cluster to which a first node belongs, where the plurality of pods are distributed on at least two nodes; determining a weight of each of the plurality of pods based on the topology information of each pod; and selecting a target pod from the plurality of pods based on the weight of each pod, where the target pod is configured to process a currently to-be-processed task in the first node. In embodiments of this application, network overheads can be reduced when a task request is allocated.
