    Abstract: A network configuration method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: a first execution device sends to a management device, a device discovery message which is a layer 2 packet and includes a first port identifier, wherein a port identified by the first port identifier is a port, in an up state, of the first execution device. The first execution device receives from the management device a first configuration message which is a layer 2 packet and includes a configuration parameter which is for a second execution device and includes an internet protocol address of the second execution device that is connected to the port identified by the first port identifier. The first execution device sends the first configuration message through the port. According to the application, large amount of manpower is saved and network configuration efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: This application discloses a network and a data transmission method and apparatus, and belongs to the field of communication technologies. The network includes a core device and an edge device. The edge device identifies a service type of a first service packet from the core device, and reports a service type identifier of the first packet to the core device. The core device determines a priority corresponding to the service type identifier based on a stored service priority correspondence, and forwards, based on the priority, a service packet belonging to a same service flow as the first service packet. A strong service identification capability of the edge device is used to precisely identify thousands of service types, and a strong entry storage capability of the core device is used to store a correspondence that records thousands of service types and priorities. This effectively avoids problems such as transmission congestion and a packet loss that are caused by an incapability of precisely identifying a service type and allocation of a same priority to service packets of different service types.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for measuring a network delay are disclosed. The method includes: acquiring delay measurement information obtained by measuring a service flow by at least one target logical port TLP, where the delay measurement information includes: timestamp information, a service flow identifier, and a TLP identifier; and transmitting the delay measurement information to a measurement control point MCP, so that the MCP determines details about a network delay according to the timestamp information, the service flow identifier, and the TLP identifier. Embodiments of the present application further provide an apparatus and a system for measuring a network delay. Embodiments of the present application achieve direct and accurate delay measurement of a service flow in scenarios of point to point transmission or point to multipoint transmission on the network, and reflect details about a real delay of the service flow.

    Abstract: A network configuration method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided, and belong to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: A first execution device sends a device discovery message to a management device. The device discovery message is a layer 2 packet and includes a first port identifier, where a port identified by the first port identifier is a port, in an up state, of the first execution device (301). The first execution device receives a first configuration message from the management device. The first configuration message is a layer 2 packet and includes a configuration parameter for a second execution device. The configuration parameter includes an internet protocol address of the second execution device, and the second execution device is connected to the port identified by the first port identifier (303). The first execution device sends the first configuration message through the port identified by the first port identifier (302). The execution device and the management device may discover a new device by themselves, deliver a configuration parameter, and complete network configuration on the discovered device, to save a large amount of manpower and improve network configuration efficiency.
