Abstract: A first device receives a basic broadcast frame sent by a second device; the first device parses the basic broadcast frame at a physical layer, to obtain indication information, where the indication information includes at least one of the following: first indication information, where the first indication information indicates whether content of an extended broadcast frame changes; second indication information, where the second indication information indicates a broadcast type; and third indication information, where the third indication information indicates whether content of a scanning response frame changes; and the first device determines, based on the indication information, whether to receive the extended broadcast frame.

Abstract: This application discloses a communication method, apparatus, and system, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: obtaining a second key used for communication authentication with a second node, where the second key is different from a preconfigured first key; receiving, from the second node, a release request for a first communication connection, where the first key is used for communication authentication on the first communication connection; and sending a connection establishment request to the second node, where the connection establishment request is used to request to establish a connection based on the second key. The method provides a technical solution in which the first node and the second node release a connection after determining an updated key, and establish a connection by using the new key, to implement an authentication procedure in a multi-communication scenario convergence scenario.

Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method may be applied to a terminal and a network device. In the method, the network device first sends first indication information before sending a paging message, where the first indication information is used to indicate whether at least two terminals in an RRC_IDLE state or an RRC_INACTIVE state need to receive the paging message. In this way, after each of the at least two terminals receives the first indication information, the terminal may determine, based on the first indication information, whether the terminal needs to receive the paging message. If determining that the terminal needs to receive the paging message, the terminal may detect and receive the paging message on a corresponding time-frequency resource after the network device sends the paging message.

In the method, the network device first sends first indication information before sending a paging message, where the first indication information is used to indicate whether at least two terminals in an RRC_IDLE state or an RRC_INACTTVE state need to receive the paging message.
