摘要: This application describes a wavelength-tunable laser apparatus, which reduces complexity of wavelength tuning of a laser. The laser includes a reflective gain unit, an optical phase shifter, a coupler, and a passive filter unit array. Furthermore, an output port of the reflective gain unit is connected to an input port of the optical phase shifter, an output port of the optical phase shifter is connected to an input port of the coupler, a first output port of the coupler is connected to an input port of the passive filter unit array, and a second output port of the coupler is an output port of the laser. The passive filter unit array includes a plurality of passive filter units, where any two of the plurality of passive filter units have different wavelength tuning ranges, and each filter unit has a linearly tunable wavelength.

摘要: This application discloses a method including a transmit end that generates and sends a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), and a receive end that receives the PPDU and parses the PPDU. An enhanced directional multi-gigabit (EDMG) modulation field in the PPDU includes a channel estimation field (CEF), the CEF includes a CEF sequence, and a length of the CEF sequence is m, where m is determined based on a quantity of bonding channels and a quantity of subcarriers included on a channel. When a discrete Fourier transform-spread-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-S-OFDM) technology is introduced into a 60 GHz WLAN standard, an applied CEF sequence included in a CEF can be determined, and DFT-S-OFDM transmission is further performed by using the CEF sequence. In this way, a PAPR of a WLAN system can be reduced while frequency division multiplexing for a plurality of users is supported.

摘要: The disclosure relates to technology for up-evicting cache lines. An apparatus comprises a hierarchy of caches comprising a first cache having a first cache controller and a second cache having a second cache controller. The first cache controller is configured to store cache lines evicted from a first processor group to the first cache and to down-evict cache lines from the first cache to the second cache. The second cache controller is configured to store cache lines evicted from a second processor group into the second cache, to up-evict a first cache line from the second cache to the first cache in response to an eviction of a second cache line from the second processor group to the second cache, and to provide the up-evicted first cache line from the first cache to the second processor group in response to a request from the second processor group.

摘要: In this application, a manner of generating a modulated field STF is enriched, so that a manner of generating a PPDU is enriched, thereby improving data transmission flexibility. The method includes: After generating a PPDU, a transmit end sends the PPDU to at least one receive end, where the PPDU includes at least one modulated field STF, the modulated field STF includes a plurality of zero elements and a plurality of non-zero elements, m1 zero elements are included before a first non-zero element, m2 zero elements are included after a last non-zero element, m1+m2 zero elements are included between any two adjacent non-zero elements, m1 and m2 both are positive integers, and the modulated field STF is mapped to a plurality of consecutive subcarriers for transmission. This application is used for data transmission.

摘要: The disclosure relates to branch prediction techniques that can improve the performance of pipelined microprocessors. A microprocessor for branch predictor selection includes a fetch stage configured to retrieve instructions from a memory. A buffer is configured to store instructions retrieved by the fetch stage, and one or more pipelined stages configured to execute the instructions stored in the buffer. The branch predictor, communicatively coupled to the buffer and the one or more pipelined stages, is configured to select a branch target predictor from a set of branch target predictors. Each of the branch target predictors comprise a trained model associated with a previously executed instruction to identify a target branch path for the instruction currently being executed based on the selected branch target predictor.
