Abstract: This disclosure provides a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method is applied to a software baseband architecture receiver, and the method includes: receiving a first signal; allocating a processing resource to the first signal based on parameter information of the first signal, where the processing resource includes at least one of a processing algorithm for channel estimation (CE) or a processing algorithm for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) detection; and performing CE and MIMO detection on the first signal based on the processing resource.
