Abstract: A method includes: displaying a first interface which includes identifiers of one or more to-be-migrated devices; sending a first file to a second electronic device in response to an operation of determining an identifier of the second electronic device, where the first electronic device and the to-be-migrated devices are located in a same electronic device group; retaining metadata corresponding to the first file, where the metadata is used to identify that the first file has been migrated to the second electronic device; displaying a second interface based on the metadata of the first file, where the second interface includes an identifier of a folder corresponding to the second electronic device; and displaying information about the file migrated from the first electronic device to the second electronic device.
