Abstract: An image processing method determining a format of first image data, determining a first interface mode that is currently used, where the first interface mode is determined when the processing device establishes physical connections with a display device, and the format of the first image data format is not supported by the first interface mode, and processing, the first image data based on the first interface mode to generate second image data, where a format of the second image data is supported by the first interface mode. Image data will be processed when an image format of the image data is not supported by the first interface mode.

Abstract: A video signal processing method which includes: performing luminance mapping and color gamut conversion after color space conversion and non-linear space-to-linear space conversion are performed on a to-be-processed video signal, performing linear space-to-non-linear space conversion and color space conversion on the color gamut-converted signal, and then performing saturation mapping on the converted signal, to obtain a video signal that matches a format supported by a display device, so that the to-be-processed video signal can be correctly displayed on the display device.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for processing a high dynamic range (HDR) video including a subtitle, where the method includes: encapsulating HDR video data into a video data frame that matches a transmission interface; encapsulating subtitle information into a subtitle information frame that matches the transmission interface; and separately transmitting the video data frame and the subtitle information frame to a display device through the transmission interface, where the video data frame and the subtitle information frame are packets in two types of formats. According to the method provided in this application, content and subtitle information of a dynamic metadata HDR video are separately transmitted to the display device. In this way, the display device can obtain the separated video content and subtitle information, and then separately perform corresponding processing on the HDR video and a subtitle.

Abstract: A video signal processing method includes obtaining a first linear luminance signal based on a first linear red green blue (RGB) signal corresponding to a video signal, converting the first linear luminance signal into a first non-linear luminance signal, performing a piecewise luminance mapping on the first non-linear luminance signal to obtain a second non-linear luminance signal, converting the second non-linear luminance signal into a second linear luminance signal, calculating a luminance gain between the second linear luminance signal and the first linear luminance signal, and obtaining, based on a product of the luminance gain and the first linear RGB signal, an RGB display signal corresponding to the video signal.
