    Abstract: The present invention provides a detection method used for transmission bandwidth detection in multi-level transmission bandwidth assurance, including: detecting, by at least two transmission bandwidth detection units, a transmission bandwidth of a transmission link; where each transmission bandwidth assurance level in the multi-level transmission bandwidth assurance is corresponding to only one of the at least two transmission bandwidth detection units, and when the transmission link operates at a first transmission bandwidth assurance level, a first transmission bandwidth detection unit corresponding to the first transmission bandwidth assurance level detects the transmission bandwidth of the transmission link.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for converting mobile allocation and an upper control node of a base station. The method for converting mobile allocation includes: determining that at least one cell in cells controlled by an upper control node of a base station requires mobile allocation (MA) conversion; and instructing a base station to which the at least one cell belongs to convert, according to a time slot cluster, an MA occupied by a time slot of the at least one cell, where the time slot cluster is formed by the same time slots on different carrier frequencies. The embodiments of the invention may implement dynamic MA conversion according to actual conditions of a network, thereby guaranteeing the performance of the network, and improving the calling experience of users.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method and an apparatus for setting a symbol in a communications system that uses a plurality of subcarrier spacings. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, a length of a reference blank symbol, where the length of the reference blank symbol is associated with a first subcarrier spacing, and the first subcarrier spacing is a minimum subcarrier spacing in the plurality of subcarrier spacings; and setting, by the terminal based on the length of the reference blank symbol and time domain information of the reference blank symbol, a blank symbol for a subcarrier corresponding to a second subcarrier spacing in the plurality of subcarrier spacings. According to the method and apparatus for setting a symbol provided in the embodiments of this application, when setting, based on the length of the reference symbol, a blank symbol in a subframe corresponding to a subcarrier used by the terminal, the terminal may set one or more complete symbols as blank symbols. This avoids a case in which a symbol cannot work normally because a part of the symbol is set as a blank symbol, thereby improving spectral efficiency of the system.
