Abstract: A battery micro-short circuit detection method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a target initial battery parameter value of a target battery at an initial moment, and determining a reference initial battery parameter value of a virtual reference battery at the initial moment, where a response of the virtual reference battery is the same as a response of the target battery when a same excitation condition is given; obtaining a target battery parameter value of the target battery at a specified moment; determining a reference battery parameter value of the virtual reference battery at the specified moment based on the target battery parameter value and the reference initial battery parameter; and calculating a difference between the target battery parameter value and the reference battery parameter value, and determining, based on the difference, that the target battery is micro-short-circuited.

Abstract: Example methods and apparatuses for detecting lithium plating and obtaining a polarization proportion are provided. One example method includes obtaining an open-circuit voltage of a rechargeable battery and a negative electrode open-circuit voltage of the rechargeable battery based on a state of charge of the rechargeable battery. A negative electrode polarization voltage of the rechargeable battery is obtained based on the open-circuit voltage, a terminal voltage of the rechargeable battery, and a polarization proportion of the rechargeable battery. A negative electrode voltage of the rechargeable battery is obtained based on the negative electrode open-circuit voltage and the negative electrode polarization voltage. It is determined, based on the negative electrode voltage, whether lithium plating occurs in the rechargeable battery.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a micro short circuit of a battery are provided. The detection method includes: obtaining a first reference charge capacity at a first charging end moment and a second reference charge capacity at a second charging end moment of a to-be-detected single battery included in a to-be-detected battery pack (S201), where the reference charge capacity is a difference between an electric quantity of the to-be-detected single battery and an electric quantity of a reference single battery, and the reference single battery is a single battery, which has a largest voltage value at a charging end moment, in all single batteries included in the to-be-detected battery pack; and determining, based on a difference between the first reference charge capacity and the second reference charge capacity, that a micro short circuit occurs in the to-be-detected single battery.
