Abstract: A twist tube for a false-twist device for texturing textile yarns wherein the ratio of tension of yarn being drawn from the tube to tension of yarn entering the tube is substantially reduced by providing at least three yarn deviation elements in the tube over which the yarn may pass, the elements being spaced in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tube.
