Abstract: A device, such as a printer or plotter for driving media, has sprocket wheels with sprockets engaging sprocket holes at the edges of the media. The sprocket wheels are driven via a drive belt. In order to adjust the relative angular position of one of the sprocket wheels, rollers are mounted on an adjustment lever to separately engage two courses of the drive belt. Pivoting of the lever effects the adjustment of the lengths of the two courses of the belt. During an adjustment procedure, one sprocket wheel is held fixed, and the lever is pivoted to effect the angular displacement of the other sprocket wheel.
