Abstract:
An UI section receives a printing parameter set by a user. A data reading section reads a printing parameter from an original paper. An image reading section reads an image from the original paper. When an IC chip has been attached to the original paper, a parameter selecting section selects a printing parameter thereof, whereas in other cases, the parameter selecting section selects a printing parameter, which is set by the user. An image processing section and a printing control section execute an image processing operation and a printing operation in accordance with the selected printing parameter.
Abstract:
An UI section accepts operation of a user. A setting selection section judges as to whether this user operation instructs a process operation executed in accordance with setting information of an IC chip attached to an original document, or another process operation executed in accordance with setting information entered by the user. In the former case, an operation control section controls a data reading section so as to read out the setting information from the IC chip attached to the original document, and also, controls a print control section to perform printing/FAX transforming operations in accordance with this read setting information. In the latter case, an operation control section controls a data writing section in order to write the setting information entered by the user into the IC chip.
Abstract:
Information indicating an area of an image and information indicating attributes of the image have been stored in an IC chip attached to an original paper. When a copying apparatus performs a character recognition process operation with respect to an image displayed on the original paper, the copying apparatus reads the information related to the area of the image and the information related to the attribute of this area from the IC chip attached to this original paper. Then the copying apparatus separates an area where a character is displayed therefrom. The copying apparatus executes the character recognition process operation with respect to the image of the separated area.
Abstract:
When two or more sheets of images, which have been read from two or more sheets of originals are printed on a single sheet of first printing paper, original information related to the originals is stored into an IC chip attached to the first printing paper. Thereafter, when a user desires to reproduce the originals by using this first printing paper, the original information stored in the IC chip is read therefrom. Based on the read original information, the images read from the originals are printed respectively in the same sizes as those of the respective originals.
Abstract:
An image having no secrecy is printed on a non-secret information display area of an original paper, whereas an image having secrecy, which should be originally printed, is not printed on a secret image display area. When the original paper is copied on a printing paper, an image read from the original paper is printed on a secret image display area, whereas a secret image is printed on a non-secret information display area only when an access operation to the secret image is authenticated.
Abstract:
When a printing paper to which an IC chip storing secret information is attached is discarded, a shredder applied voltage to the IC chip by a discharging unit to destroy the IC chip and to make it impossible to read the secret information therefrom. Thereafter, a shredding cutter shreds the printing paper and the shred printing paper is discarded.
Abstract:
A toner for electrostatic latent image development having coloring particles containing at least a binding resin, a coloring agent and a release agent, and an external additive, wherein a variation in a number average particle diameter of the coloring particles is 25 or less, an average circularity of the coloring particles is 0.975 or more, and a variation in a circularity of the coloring particles is 2.5 or less.
Abstract:
A copying apparatus detects as to whether or not an IC chip is present in an original paper. When the IC chip is detected, the copying apparatus reads data from this IC chip. When the read data is additional information, which can be printed as an image, the copying apparatus stops a printing process, and notifies a message indicating that the read data is the additional information to the user and then, waits for an instruction issued by the user. When the user instructs to print the additional information, the copying apparatus prints the image read from the original paper and the additional information read from the IC chip on a printing paper in an output format designated by the user.
Abstract:
A printing unit of a copying apparatus forms an image on a printing paper by way of an electrophotographing system in response to an operation executed with respect to a UI apparatus. A postprocessing unit of the copying apparatus staples a staple needle holding an IC chip to the printing paper on which the image is formed. Then, the postprocessing unit writes data input from the UI apparatus into the IC chip held by the staple needle.
