    摘要: A developing device includes a developer carrier, a developing unit housing which rotatably supports the developer carrier, a side seal member which comes into slidable contact with both ends of the developer carrier, a sheet-like elongated seal member which extends in the axial direction of the developer carrier so as to come into slidable contact with the developer carrier, a side seal attachment surface which is formed in the developing unit housing and to which the side seal member is attached, and a support portion which is formed in the developing unit housing and protrudes toward the developer carrier from the side seal attachment surface to support the elongated seal member. The elongated seal member is attached onto the support portion in a state where both ends thereof overlap the side seal member and are opposite the side seal attachment surface.

    摘要: Systems and methods for increasing audio SNR in a NICAM digital sound decoder are provided. One method according to the invention includes receiving a scale factor that indicates a number of bits of a Near Instantaneous Companded Audio Multiplex (NICAM) signal that have been truncated from the signal. The method also includes receiving the NICAM signal itself. The NICAM signal may include a predetermined number of zero bits in place of the predetermined number of truncated bits. The method may also require appending a bit pattern to the NICAM signal that approximates a rounding of the NICAM signal. The bit pattern preferably includes at least one non-zero bit. Another method according to the invention may include selecting a bit pattern from a collection of bit patterns. The collection of bit patterns may include at least non-zero bit. The alternative embodiment of the invention may also include appending the selected bit pattern to the NICAM signal in order to replace a predetermined number of truncated bits.

    摘要: A three-phase alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) converter may include a three-phase AC filter receiving a three-phase AC power supply, a plurality of three-phase current source rectifiers (CSR) connected in parallel with each other and connected to a three-phase AC filter, and an output filter connected to the CSR's to generate a DC output. Each of the CSRs may include six switches and a free-wheeling diode. Each of the three filtered AC inputs from the three-phase AC filter may be connected via a switch of the six switches to selectably send current into a positive line, and each of three filtered AC inputs from the three-phase AC filter may be connected via another switch of the six switches to selectably receive current from a negative line. The free-wheeling diode may have a cathode connected to the positive line and an anode connected to the negative line.
