Abstract:
There is provided a acne-affected skin determination method including: setting an upper region and a lower region so as to vertically divide the face of a subject into two regions; acquiring a measurement value of the amount of moisture in the lower region; acquiring a measurement value of the amount of moisture in the upper region; calculating a target moisture value indicating the level of the amounts of moisture distributed in one of the upper region or the lower region and a reference moisture value indicating the level of the amounts of moisture distributed in a reference region including the other of the upper region and the lower region, based on the measurement values of the amounts of moisture in the upper region and the lower region; obtaining the degree of change in moisture of the target moisture value with respect to the reference moisture value; and determining the ease of generation of acne in the face of the subject based on the obtained degree of change in moisture.
Abstract:
A transparency evaluation device includes a skin index calculation unit that calculates at least one of a luminance component in a captured image obtained by photographing a skin, a color component in the captured image, and an amount of generation of negative factors in which the luminance component or the color component in the captured image changes locally, as a first index, obtains at least one of an intensity distribution of the luminance component and an intensity distribution of the color component in the captured image, and calculates at least one of smoothness of a change in the luminance component and smoothness of a change in the color component as a second index based on the intensity distributions, and a transparency evaluation unit that evaluates transparency of the skin based on an overall index in which the first index and the second index are combined.
Abstract:
Provided is a damage diagram creation support method, which includes: acquiring information on a region having internal damage to a structure within an inspection target region; acquiring a visible light image obtained by imaging the inspection target region with a visible light camera; detecting fissuring appearing on a surface of the structure in the visible light image; and creating a damage diagram in which the fissuring detected in the visible light image is traced. Also provided is a damage diagram creation support device capable of appropriately recording a detection result of fissuring automatically detected from an image.
Abstract:
An applied state of a cosmetic material on skin is easily and accurately evaluated. A principal component analysis unit 4 performs principal component analysis on a spectral reflectance measured from a spectral image and calculates eigenvectors of first to third principal components and principal component scores of the first to third principal components based on the eigenvectors of the first to third principal components, and a skin evaluation unit 5 evaluates an applied state of a cosmetic material on skin using at least one of the calculated principal component scores of the first to third principal components and a preset threshold value or a discriminant function of each principal component.
Abstract:
A profile of optical reflectance relative to a depth within a depth range from an epidermis to an upper layer of a dermis is created based on a coherence signal obtained by optical coherence tomography, an evaluation index is determined by calculating a difference between reflectance at a local minimum point and reflectance at a second local maximum point from the created profile, and skin conditions are evaluated based on the evaluation index.
Abstract:
A wrinkle detection method comprises the steps of obtaining face data of a subject; setting one or more analytical regions on the obtained face data; producing plural pieces of wrinkle component extracted data by extracting wrinkle components extending in one direction or in plural directions at different angles from each other in an angle range in which wrinkles tend to extend and which is set in advance for the set one or more analytical regions; producing plural pieces of wrinkle component emphasized data corresponding to the pieces of wrinkle component extracted data, respectively, by emphasizing the wrinkle components; producing composite data by combining the pieces of wrinkle component emphasized data; and detecting a wrinkle component having an intensity equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value from the composite data as a wrinkle of the subject.
Abstract:
A flight imaging system and a method suitable where an unmanned flying object equipped with a visible camera and millimeter-wave radar is used, and a structure imaged by the visible camera and millimeter-wave radar mounted on the unmanned flying object are provided. A drone constituting the flight imaging system is equipped with a visible camera and a millimeter-wave radar. A processor of the drone performs control of the visible camera to capture a visible image of a surface layer of the structure, and control the millimeter-wave radar to transmit a millimeter wave toward the structure and receive a reflected wave of the millimeter wave from the structure, in a case of imaging the structure. During flight of the drone, the altitude of the drone is measured by an altitude meter mounted on the drone, altitude information indicating the measured altitude is acquired, and is used, in flying the drone.
Abstract:
A skin evaluation apparatus includes a shape information acquisition unit 22 that acquires information on a surface unevenness shape of the skin; an optical feature information acquisition unit 23 that acquires information on an optical feature of the skin; and an evaluation unit 24 that evaluates gloss of the skin on the basis of the information on the surface unevenness shape and the information on the optical feature.
Abstract:
A camera system includes: a database which stores a plurality of stereoscopic color profiles, in which conversion relationships calculated from second image data obtained by photographing a plurality of reference color stereoscopic objects assigned with reference colorimetric values in advance and the reference colorimetric values corresponding to the second image data are associated with a plurality of illumination conditions in photographing; a selection unit which, based on an illumination condition at the time of photographing of a stereoscopic subject, selects a stereoscopic color profile corresponding to the illumination condition; and a color conversion unit which performs color conversion from first image data of a photographed image of the stereoscopic subject to colorimetric values, based on the selected stereoscopic color profile.
