摘要： Disclosed is a method for the nitration of 4,6-dihydroxy-2-methylpyrimidine for the synthesis of 4,6-dihydroxy-5,5-dinitro-2-(dinitromethylene)-2,5-dihydropyrimidine which is used as a precursor of 1,1-diamino-2,2-dinitroethylene, one type of explosives. The present invention provides an improved method for the nitration of 4,6-dihydroxy-2-methylpyrimidine, wherein organic solvent is applied in the nitration process of 4,6-dihydroxy-2-methylpyrimidine thereby solving the safety problem while improving the yield of nitration.
