    Abstract: A binocular device adapted to a wearer comprising: a first lens and a second lens, respectively designed to be placed in front of first and second eyes of the wearer, the first lens comprising at least a back face, a monocular display device designed and arranged to display a virtual picture towards the first eye of the wearer, the virtual picture being transmitted through the back face of the first lens defining a display area on the back face, wherein: the second lens comprises an adapted area and a corresponding area, the corresponding area is the area scanned by the second eye of the wearer when the first eye scans the virtual picture through the display area, and the adapted area is arranged so that the adapted area overlaps at least a part of the corresponding area, and the adapted area is configured to be obscured.

    Abstract: A system for generating a virtual image for a wearer includes: a lens providing vision of a real scene and having refractive power related to the prescription of the wearer, a directive light source that emits directive light beams to create the virtual image, a reflecting element positioned on or in the lens that receives and redirects the directive light beams emitted by the directive light source toward a convergence area of an eye of the wearer, a dynamical optical element for modifying the received light beams, and a memory storing prescription data relative to the prescription of the wearer, the dynamical optical element modifying the light beams at the convergence area so as to compensate at least partly the prescription of the wearer.

    Abstract: A pictures positioning system and method for positioning pictures on display elements of a binocular displaying device is described. The binocular displaying device comprises a right and a left display element to be placed in front of corresponding eyes of a wearer, and to display right and left pictures. The binocular displaying device comprises a measurement means. The method comprises a providing step during which at least one wearer related parameter is provided, the providing step including a measurement operation. The measurement operation may be performed by using the measurement means embedded in the binocular displaying device. The method includes a display positioning determination step during which a right display positioning of the right picture on the right display element is determined and a left display positioning of the left picture on the left display element is determined. The display positioning determination step is performed based on at least one wearer related parameter.
