Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for detecting a disaster based on images. The apparatus includes an image capture unit for capturing video using at least one camera and controlling the camera based on a camera control signal received from the outside; a disaster detection unit for generating a disaster log based on the video captured using the camera; a disaster analysis unit for calculating a disaster occurrence probability value based on the disaster log and determining whether to enter a camera control mode based on the disaster occurrence probability value; and a disaster alert unit for warning of a disaster based on a disaster alert request signal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for controlling functionality of a mobile device. The operation of the element function of the mobile device is blocked by a blocking code, and the operation of the blocked element function is unblocked by an unblocking code. The blocking code is a code used to block the operation of the element function of the mobile device in an area in which a user is located, and the unblocking code is a code that is uniquely generated to correspond to the blocking code and that is used to unblock the operation of the blocked element function. By means of the blocking code and the unblocking code, the blocking and unblocking of the operation of an element function that is required in an area in which the user of the mobile device is located may be easily performed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for providing a secure execution environment for a mobile cloud. The apparatus for providing a secure execution environment includes a general execution unit for, when a request for service execution is received, generating authentication information, transmitting the authentication information to a cloud server, and receiving a security key required for secure communication from the cloud server, and a secure execution unit for verifying the security key received from the general execution unit and performing secure communication with the cloud server by running a service execution monitor when verification succeeds, wherein the general execution unit is configured to transmit the authentication information, including general authentication information corresponding to the general execution unit and secure authentication information received from the secure execution unit, to the cloud server, thus allowing the cloud server to verify the general execution unit and the secure execution unit.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for generating evidence video. The apparatus includes a video object indexing unit, a video object search unit, and an evidence video generation unit. The video object indexing unit recognizes an object by storing and analyzing videos received from multiple surveillance cameras, extracts the features of the recognized object, and then generates object metadata. The video object search unit compares received search conditions with the object metadata, and then outputs search results, including the feature information of at least one object, which corresponds to the search conditions. The evidence video generation unit generates an evidence video by aggregating only videos including a specific object selected from the search results.
