Abstract: A data redirection system and a method of providing a data redirection service are provided. The data redirection system includes a thin-client terminal configured to be connected to a local peripheral device and receive multimedia data from the local peripheral device; and a redirection server configured to be connected to the thin-client terminal via a network, receive the multimedia data from the thin-client terminal, execute the multimedia data in an application program and transmit an execution result screen displaying the result of the execution to the thin-client terminal.
