Abstract: A luminaire includes a housing that houses a light transmission unit therein. The housing includes a back plate that has an uplight opening. The uplight opening is covered by a detachable panel that is removably coupled to the back plate. The light transmission unit includes a lightguide that receives light through the side edges and emits light through the major surfaces thereof. Further, the light transmission unit includes a reflector panel. In one example, the reflector panel is detachable to form an opening that allows light from the lightguide panel to pass through. In another example, the reflector panel includes patterned openings that allow light from the lightguide panel to pass through. The reflector panel is disposed in between one of the major surfaces of the lightguide panel and the back plate. The reflector segment and detachable panel comprise uplight features that are configured to provide uplight.

Abstract: An end cap for a light fixture is described herein. The end cap can include a body having at least one wall and at least one coupling feature, where the at least one wall has an inner surface and an outer surface, and where the at least one coupling feature is configured to couple the body to another component of the light fixture. The end cap can also include a first knockout disposed in the at least one wall, where the first knockout is configured to be removed to generate a first aperture in the at least one wall, where the first aperture is configured to receive a first electrical enclosure. The end cap can further include a second knockout disposed in the at least one wall, where the second knockout is configured to be removed to generate a second aperture in the at least one wall.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a housing and a power connector attached to the housing. The lighting device also includes a wireless lighting control device positioned inside the housing. The wireless lighting control device further includes a controller communicably coupled to the wireless transceiver and to the control interface circuitry. Abstract: A luminaire includes a light transmission unit and a light source that are disposed in a housing assembly of the luminaire such that light emitted from the light source enters a lightguide panel of the light transmission unit through an edge of the lightguide panel and exits the lightguide panel through a surface of the lightguide panel that is substantially perpendicular to the edge. A length of the luminaire along its long side is greater than a width of the luminaire along its short side, while a height of the luminaire with or without any appropriate electronic component that is mounted thereto is less than the width of the luminaire as well as a width of an aperture of a recessed installation structure, such as a T-grid frame or a drywall frame, through which the luminaire is to be installed. The luminaire includes grid clips for recessed installation.

Alternatively, a multi-part friction clip includes a first member that is couplable to a light module, and a second member that is removably couplable to the first member. The second member includes a coupling portion configured to removably engage with the first member, a middle portion having a bent out tab that includes a first interference edge, and an end portion that includes a second interference edge.
