    Abstract: A splice clip for coupling discrete sections of a wire mesh cable tray. The splice clip can include a bolt with a base, a first ledge, and a second ledge opposing the first ledge. The base and the first and second ledges can define a passageway along the bolt. The splice clip can also include a retainer with a set of pockets, including a first pocket and a second pocket, and a set of guidance features configured to translate within the passageway to guide the bolt along and in engagement with the retainer. The first pocket can be configured to receive a first wire of a first discrete cable tray section and the second pocket can be configured to receive a second wire of a second discrete cable tray section. The bolt can be movable along the retainer between an open position and a closed position.

    Abstract: A clip is provided for supporting a cylindrical object on a strut channel. The clip can include a clip body extending along a clip axis and can have a first end with a notch. The notch can be sized to receive a cylindrical object during installation of the clip to the strut channel when the clip body is positioned around the cylindrical object with the clip axis obliquely angled relative to a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical object. The clip can also have a first set of arms extending from the first end of the clip body adapted to engage a first reentrant lip of a strut channel when the cylindrical object is received in the notch and a second set of arms extending from a second end of the clip body adapted to be resiliently flexible for engagement with a second reentrant lip of the strut channel.

    Abstract: A push-on spring nut for attaching a threaded object to a structure can include a single-piece body with a base, a first arm, and a second arm. Each of the first and second arms can include a support portion extending from the base, a structure-engagement portion that extends laterally outwardly from the support portion, a connecting portion that extends laterally inwardly from an acutely angled junction with the structure-engagement portion, and a thread-engagement portion that extends laterally inwardly from the connecting portion. The single-piece body can be configured to be pushed partly through an opening of the structure to seat the structure-engagement portion against the structure, to support the single-piece body against axial loading opposite the first direction. The first and second arms can be configured to resiliently flex laterally outwardly to allow non-rotational axial insertion of the threaded object.

    Abstract: A device is used for gripping and securing cable for the purpose of suspending objects or loads. The device may be a two-barrel device that allows the user to create a loop of cable to secure to a hanging load, or to a structural member. The user of the locking device feeds the cable through one barrel, around an object to be suspended, and through the other barrel. The device has carriers installed in sockets in a housing, with wedge-shape jaws in openings in the carriers able to engage the cable and hold the cable within the device. Pushing or pulling of the carrier is used to release the spring force pressing the jaws inward, allowing the cable to be removed from the device.
