Abstract: A method for providing timing information for synchronizing between packet streams each transported from a first server and a second server under environment of a hybrid delivery service is provided. When the first server transports a first media entity and the second server transports a second media entity, timing information for synchronizing a second packet including a second media entity with a first packet including a first media entity in the second server is generated in response to a transport request for the second media entity from a client and the timing information and the second packet including the second media entity is provided to the client from the second server.
