Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for time-assisted authentication. A main authentication entity may generate a group of communication entities. In keying protocol a key distributor, i-e main authentication entity, controls the key generation arguments and time factor; other member of the group independently generate the time-based keys using the key generation arguments. Respective keys in the chain of keys may be valid for time intervals predefined for respective keys. A ticket is issued to the valid customer node during initial authentication process, which is further used for re-authentication of customer node with other service providing entities and customer to customer node mutual authentication. A ticket verifier may authenticate a customer node by decrypting the ticket using time based keys.
Abstract:
A digital signage system and a method of providing information using the digital signage system are disclosed. The digital signage terminal includes an emergency detection unit, an emergency detection message generation unit, a communication unit, and an emergency alert message processing unit. The emergency detection unit collects the surrounding emergency-related information of the digital signage terminal. The emergency detection message generation unit generates an emergency detection message including the collected emergency-related information. The communication unit transmits the generated emergency detection message to a digital signage server, and receives an emergency alert message including an emergency alert corresponding to an emergency situation from the digital signage server. The emergency alert message processing unit parses the emergency alert message, and provides the emergency alert included in the emergency alert message to a user.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for controlling access to websites using a history of access of an administrator are disclosed. The apparatus includes a privilege checking unit, an access control release unit, and an access control unit. The privilege checking unit determines whether the access privileges of a user are administrator privileges when the user attempts to access a website. The access control release unit sets the website to an access-allowed state if the access privileges of the user are administrator privileges. The access control unit controls access to the website if the access privileges of the user are not administrator privileges, nor is the website in an access-allowed state.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are an in-network caching apparatus and method. The in-network caching method using the in-network caching apparatus includes receiving content from a second node in response to a request from a first node; checking a Conditional Leave Copy Everywhere (CLCE) replication condition depending on a number of requests for the content; checking a priority condition based on a result value of a priority function for the content; checking a partition depending on the number of requests for the content; performing a cache replacement operation for the content depending on a result of checking the partition for the content; and transmitting the content to the first node.
Abstract:
A method and digital signage terminal for processing an interactive service using a digital signage system are disclosed. The digital signage terminal includes a device controller, a configuration manager, a device event receiver, an event data analyzer, and a registered event dispatcher. The device controller performs control so that the auxiliary device receives at least one event. The configuration manager receives a client configuration message, and extracts first event request information. The device event receiver receives raw data related to a first event. The event data analyzer converts the raw data into information related to the first event. The registered event dispatcher registers a second event based on the extracted first event request information, receives the information related to the first event, determines whether the first event corresponds to the registered second event, and generates determination information indicating that the first event corresponds to the second event.
