Abstract:
A waveguide feedthrough for broadband electromagnetic wave attenuation is provided in an electromagnetic wave shielding structure, in which data processing and communication devices are installed, so that a plurality of optical cables or the like which are connected to data processing and communication devices are led into the electromagnetic wave shielding structure through the waveguide feedthrough. Thereby, broadband electromagnetic waves generated from external other devices can be prevented from entering the electromagnetic wave shielding structure. For this, the waveguide feedthrough includes a waveguide feedthrough body which is made of conductive material and has a through hole therein, and an electromagnetic wave absorber which is provided on an inner side surface of the through hole.

A lightweight and low-cost electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection rack includes a front door, a rear door disposed to face the front door, a left outer wall disposed between the front door and the rear door, a right outer wall disposed to face the left outer wall, a top outer wall positioned on top parts of the front door, the rear door, the left outer wall, and the right outer wall, a bottom outer wall disposed to face the top outer wall, and a main frame disposed to connect, into a single unit, the front door, the rear door, the left outer wall, the right outer wall, the top outer wall and the bottom outer wall, wherein at least one of the front door and the rear door is implemented as a roller blind having a shielding member.
Abstract:
A wideband pulse detector and a method for operating the wideband pulse detector. The wideband pulse detector includes a signal collection unit for receiving electromagnetic pulses, a signal classification unit for classifying the electromagnetic pulses into N channels (where N is an integer of 2 or more) depending on frequency components corresponding to the electromagnetic pulses, a signal detection unit for detecting and holding the classified pulses, and a signal processing unit for converting the held pulses into digital signals, identifying types of the electromagnetic pulses corresponding to the converted digital signals using a classification algorithm, determining signal strengths of the electromagnetic pulses, and then controlling a reset circuit for successive signal detection.
