Abstract: Provided are a server and method for approximate query processing based on a probabilistic circuit that improve scalability and efficiency for approximate queries about operations (aggregation, statistics, and the like) mainly used in exploratory data analysis on the basis of a tractable probabilistic circuit (TPC) in a distributed network environment where various terminals (sensors, mobile computing and communication devices, and the like), network devices, and cloud infrastructures autonomously participate and continuously collect data.
