Abstract: Provided is a manual follicle-transplanting hair transplanter for increasing a graft survival rate. The manual follicle-transplanting hair transplanter includes a needle member having a lower end containing a follicle to be transplanted and having a head having a larger diameter than a portion below the head at an upper end thereof, a rod member inserted into the needle member and having a push portion having a larger diameter than a portion below the push portion at an upper end thereof, an inner body configured to contain the needle member and limit downward movement of the needle member, and an outer body configured to contain the inner body and limit upward movement of the needle member. The needle member is automatically withdrawn when a compressed spring disposed in the inner body expands and pushes up a lower surface of the head.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus and method for expanding skin capable of expanding autologous skin to the maximum extent and performing a tissue culture of skin at the outside of the body. While an apparatus for expanding autologous skin of body's outside in general takes a form of expanding skin by applying a certain amount of constant force for a period of time regardless of the skin properties, the apparatus and method for expanding skin according to the embodiment of the present invention expands the skin to the maximum extent without rupturing the skin based on measurements of elasticity of the skin to find the maximum expanded area reachable just before rupturing of the skin.

Abstract: Provided is an automatic hair transplanter for transplanting follicles including a housing having a space therein and having an aperture in a front surface, a cartridge installed behind the aperture and having a plurality of holes containing each of needle and rod assemblies, a cartridge driver configured to sequentially cause centers of the needle and rod assemblies to correspond to the center of the aperture by causing the cartridge to make a rectilinear motion or a rotary motion, a needle-and-rod assembly pressurizer configured to pressurize the back end of a needle and rod assembly whose center corresponds to the center of the aperture, and a manipulator having a switch for controlling operations of the cartridge mover and the needle-and-rod assembly pressurizer.
