    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body and a first terminal module. The insulating body includes a main body and an extension plate. The main body defines a first installation groove. The first terminal module includes a first conductive mounting block, a first terminal assembly, a first cable and a first ground plate. The first terminal assembly includes a first insulating block and a number of first conductive terminals. Each first conductive terminal includes a mating portion and a connecting portion. The first cable includes a first shielding layer sandwiched between the first conductive mounting block and the first ground plate. An electrical connector assembly having the electrical connector is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Provided are a conductive sheet structure and a high-speed connector. The conductive sheet includes a conductive sheet, and a plurality of elastic arms are disposed on the conductive sheet with spacings. Each elastic arm includes a connecting section, a tilt section and a contact section which are connected in sequence. The connecting section is fixedly connected to the conductive sheet. The tilt section is tilted relative to the conductive sheet and the tilt angle between the tilt section and the conductive sheet is variable. The contact section is used for contacting with a grounding terminal on a high-speed connector.

    Abstract: A mating module includes a tongue plate configured to be inserted into a mating slot of an electrical connector. The tongue plate includes a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, a number of conductive pads exposed to the first surface and/or the second surface, and at least one metal grounding plate located between the first surface and the second surface. An end surface of the metal grounding plate extends at least close to an edge of the tongue plate. The end surface of the metal grounding plate is configured to be electrically connected to a metal shielding sheet of the electrical connector, so as to improve the grounding and shielding effects. A connector assembly having the mating module is also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a high-speed connector including an insulating body and a terminal module. The terminal module includes a number of terminal groups. Each terminal group includes a number of ground terminals, a number of signal terminals and a shielding piece. The ground terminal includes a ground pin. The signal terminal includes a signal pin. The shielding piece includes a number of convex portions and a number of surrounding portions. The ground pins and the signal pins are distributed in a staggered manner. At least one ground pin is in contact with the convex portion of the shielding piece. The surrounding portion surrounds the signal pins. When the ground pins and the signal pins are no longer in the same plane or the same row, the shielding piece can prevent cross-talk among signals, thereby improving the transmission quality.
