    Abstract: A positioning method, a device, a system, a terminal, an LMF entity, and a medium, used to solve the problem of low positioning accuracy of UE-based OTDOA in the prior art. The method includes a terminal sending to a location management function (LMF) entity an auxiliary positioning data request message includes first identification information of a beam reference signal detected by the terminal itself, receiving from the LMF entity auxiliary positioning data of beam direction information of a beam reference signal including second identification information, and the second identification information is identification information of a beam reference signal sent by a neighboring base station and determined, according to the first identification information, by the LMF entity as being detectable by the terminal, and determining an RSTD of each beam reference signal having the first identification information or the second identification information, and determining position information of the terminal according to the determined RSTD and a beam direction of each beam reference signal.

    Abstract: A positioning method and device used for solving the problems of the existing method for determining an integer ambiguity being relatively difficult and relatively time-consuming. During positioning, the method includes a receiving device determining a virtual phase measured value according to at least two received C-PRS signals (600); determining a TOA measured value according to a received PRS signal (601); determining a virtual integer ambiguity according to the TOA measured value and the virtual phase measured value (602); and finally, determining the location of the receiving device according to the virtual integer ambiguity (603). An integer ambiguity search space is reduced, and the integer ambiguity is determined faster, thus improving the efficiency of determining the location of the receiving device.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are a locating method for an uplink time difference of arrival, and an apparatus thereof. The method comprises: a locating server transmits a UTDOA information request message to a serving base station of a target terminal; the locating server receives a UTDOA information response message sent by the serving base station, wherein the UTDOA information response message carries configuration information of a locating reference signal and beam information of a reference signal related the a target terminal; the locating server transmits a measurement information request message to a location measurement unit, wherein the measurement information request message carries auxiliary locating information, the auxiliary locating information comprises the beam information of the reference signal related to the target terminal, or comprises relative information between a transmitting beam of the locating reference signal determined according to the beam information of the reference signal related to the target terminal and a received beam used by the location measurement unit, so that the location measurement unit and the locating server can assist in locating by using the beam information.

    Abstract: Disclosed by the present application are a positioning method and apparatus, which are used to improve indoor positioning performance and precision without occupying a large amount of system resources. At a positioning server side, a positioning method provided by an embodiment of the present application comprises: acquiring a positioning capability supported by a user equipment (UE), and determining, according to the positioning capability, that the UE may obtain a positioning measurement value by means of detecting a positioning reference signal ioPRS that is used for indoor/outdoor positioning; acquiring positioning auxiliary data comprising ioPRS configuration data, and sending the positioning auxiliary data to the UE; acquiring the positioning measurement value that is provided by the UE and that is acquired on the basis of the ioPRS, and using the positioning measurement value to position the UE.

    Abstract: The present application relates to the field of wireless communications, in particular, to a measurement method and device, used for solving the problem in the art that there is no specific solution for a terminal to perform OTDOA measurement in a NR system. In embodiments of the present application, a terminal determines a detected first beam reference signal, and sends a request message to an LMF entity, receive first positioning assistance data comprising second beam information of a second beam reference signal sent by the LMF entity, measure the second beam reference signal of an adjacent base station according to the first positioning assistance data. Therefore, it is ensured that the LMF entity can accurately provide the positioning assistance data to a UE according to first beam information of the first beam reference signal, the time and power consumption of the terminal for searching the second beam reference signal are reduced, and the system performance is further improved.
