    Abstract: Disclosed are channel monitoring and a control method and apparatus thereof, for achieving an adaptive Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) monitoring solution, achieving adaptive adjustment of PDCCH monitoring according to a service condition of a terminal, and achieving an effect of power saving of the terminal. The channel monitoring control method provided in the present application comprises: determining PDCCH monitoring solution instruction information; and sending the PDCCH monitoring solution instruction information to the terminal for instructing the terminal to adjust the PDCCH monitoring solution.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the present application are switching of a search space set group of a target cell, and a control method and apparatus thereof. In the present application, a terminal is flexibly instructed by means of downlink control signaling carrying a user dedicated instruction to perform search space set group switching, so as to implement search space set group switching for service features of different users and improve the energy-saving performance of the terminal. The method comprises: receiving control signaling that is sent by a network side and carries a user dedicated instruction, the user dedicated instruction being used for instructing a terminal to switch at least one target cell from a current search space set group to a target search space set group; and switching the at least one target cell from the current search space set group to the target search space set group according to the control signaling.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an energy conservation transmission method, base station, and terminal device; the base station can configure an energy conservation signal for the terminal device; the energy conservation signal carries energy conservation information; the energy conservation information can indicate a first configuration of at least one discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle of the terminal device, the at least one DRX cycle comprising at least one first cycle and/or at least one second cycle; the first cycle and the second cycle are long cycles and/or short cycles, and the first cycle is different from the second cycle; the first configuration of the DRX cycle includes at least one of the maximum number N of DRX cycles, the maximum number K of the first cycle, and the number Y of the first cycle, all of N, K, and Y being integers greater than or equal to 1; thus the energy conservation signal can indicate to the terminal device for any combination of DRX cycles of different lengths, solving the technical problem in the prior art of how to configure the number of DRX cycles indicated by the energy conservation signal.

In the present application, a base station configures search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal, and sends same to a terminal. The power-saving signal search space set configuration information comprises first configuration information and second configuration information; the first configuration information is search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal used when the terminal is in a short DRX cycle; and the second configuration information is search space set configuration information of a power-saving signal used when the terminal is in a long DRX cycle.
