    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of battery and, in particular, relates to a current collector, an electrode plate including the current collector, and an electrochemical device. The current collector of the present disclosure includes an insulation layer and a conductive layer. The insulation layer is used to support the conductive layer. The conductive layer is used to support an electrode active material layer and is located on at least one surface of the insulation layer. The insulation layer has a density smaller than that of the conductive layer. The insulation layer has a thickness of D1 satisfying 1 μm≤D1≤10 μm. The conductive layer has a thickness of D2 satisfying 200 nm≤D2≤1.5 μm. The insulation layer has a tensile strength greater than or equal to 150 MPa.

    Abstract: The invention refers to negative electrode plate, preparation method thereof and electrochemical device. The negative electrode plate comprises: a negative current collector; a negative active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the negative current collector, the negative active material layer comprising opposite first surface and second surface, wherein the first surface is disposed away from the negative current collector; and an inorganic dielectric layer consisting of an inorganic dielectric material disposed on the first surface of the negative active material layer. The negative electrode plate provided by the application is useful in an electrochemical device, and can result in an electrochemical device having simultaneously excellent safety performance and cycle performance.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of batteries and, specifically, to a current collector comprising a support layer, a conductive layer and a conductive material. The conductive layer is located on two surfaces of the support layer. A plurality of holes extending through the support layer and the conductive layer is provided in the current collector and is filled with the conductive material. The current collector of the present disclosure can improve the short circuit resistance of the battery using the current collector when a short circuit occurs under abnormal conditions, so that the short circuit current can be greatly reduced, and thus heat generated by the short circuit can be greatly reduced, thereby improving the safety performance of the battery.
