摘要： An elliptical exerciser includes a base, a body, a transmission device, an adjustable upright post, a pair of handles and two foot pedal rods. The post is composed of an upper tube which is retractably inserted in a lower tube. Two respective mediate portions of the two handles are connected to two sides of the upper tube. Two ends of each foot pedal are respectively connected to a lower end of the handle and the transmission device. The swinging of the handles drives the foot pedal rods and the transmission device rotates. The positions of elliptical trace of the pedal rods are adjusted by adjusting the upper tube upward or downward relative to the lower tube so as to simulate uphill hiking and downhill hiking and exercise different parts of muscles.

A user can thus allow two hands to control the actions of pushing and pressing with the ski sticks to do treading exercise in a crossed way and in an inclining mode as if the user is skiing; the object of doing plastic art on a waist, a hip and a thigh etc. can thus be attained.

The back seat and the back cover respectively have complementary teeth to engage with each other to form a zigzag path between them. The back cover further has a plurality of vertical slots defined in a bottom portion thereof and a plurality of flexible conduits respectively received in the vertical slots and extended out from the slots. Wires of the circuit board are extended out along the flexible conduits.
