    Abstract: An illuminated human-machine interface device does not need prepare electric energy by itself to supply power for a light source and can operate by taking advantage of the brightness of a screen of a monitor without any extraordinary illuminating equipment. It can be a keyboard and the positions on which the fluorescent light emits from the keyboard can be chosen on plural key caps. Secondly, it can be a keyboard and the position on which the fluorescent light emits from the keyboard can be chosen on an upper cover. The printed symbols on the key caps and the upper cover can both be formed by positive or negative plate printing with fluorescent ink, or the key caps and the upper cover can both be mixed with fluorescent material therein. Thirdly, it can be a keyboard with a fluorescent plate thereon to emit fluorescent light to make the keyboard a fluorescent keyboard. Fourthly, it can be a mouse having a housing with fluorescent material therein.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a keyboard switch which comprises first and second elements alternately engaged with each other and supporting a keycap at the top ends of the elements.     Abstract: A pushbutton of a keyboard includes a cap supported on a base board by a linkage comprising first and second links pivoted together whereby the cap is movable from a released to a depressed positions when depressed. Each link has upper and lower pivots respectively connected to the cap and the base board. The links have two side bars connected between the upper and lower pivots thereof. Two spring arms extend from the base board having free ends forming L-shaped offset sections receivingly engaging L-shaped recesses defined in corresponding side bars for biasing the cap toward the released position. The spring arms deform when the cap is depressed. When the spring arms are deformed to an extent, the offset sections are abruptly driven toward and impact a contact surface of the recesses, generating a sound of impact and a pulse-like reaction caused by the impact. The deformation of the spring arms helps returning the cap back to the released position when the depression is released.
